The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "A mysterious confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.
The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Bonus Content
Players who accomplish the mission will receive an special katana in addition to several artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
